Today, I had to remind myself that peace is my power. I’ve been pouring so much into the physical vision of Life Is A Style Café—finalizing merch bundles, team schedules, signage mockups—but it’s easy to forget that the spiritual foundation is what holds it all together.

Things didn’t go as smoothly as I hoped. Deadlines slipped. Visuals missed the mark. Frustration crept in. But I paused. Breathed. Sat with spirit.

Today’s Verse:

“And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined neither to the right hand, nor to the left.” – 2 Chronicles 34:2

This reminds me: when you’re walking in divine order, you don’t need to swerve. No need to force. No need to fight. Stay centered in the vision—even when the physical wavers.

To continue building this café not just as a business, but as a sacred space of remembrance, joy, and alignment.

Every decision I make is a seed. Every blog, every recipe, every flyer, every launch — it’s all part of something that will outlive me.

I’m not doing this for quick wins. I’m doing this so that people remember how I made them feel when they stepped into something I created with love and purpose.

So no, this isn’t just a café.

This is legacy in motion. This is the foundation of something my bloodline will benefit from.

The Moment I Realized I Was the One I Was Waiting For.

Faith, Entrepreneurship, Purpose.

There was a time I kept waiting for someone to come save me.

An investor.
A mentor.

I thought maybe if I just explained my vision right… if I worked harder… if I looked more “ready”… then someone would see me. Choose me. Validate me.

But nothing hit me harder than the day I looked in the mirror and heard my spirit say:

“You don’t need saving. You need to start.”

Since then, I stopped waiting. I became my own investor, my own hype woman, my own blueprint.

Life Is A Style Café is the result of me betting on myself — even when I had nothing but vision, grit, and God.

I didn’t have connections. I didn’t have a rich investor knocking at my door.
But what I did have was a vision that wouldn’t leave me alone — and a God that whispered, “Keep going.”

When everything around me looked like delay, I had to remind myself that delay wasn’t denial.

That just because I couldn’t see the way, didn’t mean God wasn’t clearing the path.

I’ve cried. I’ve prayed. I’ve paced floors wondering how and when.
But looking back… every “no” protected me. Every closed door led me to one I was meant to open myself.

When you build with God, you're not building from scratch — you're building from purpose.

Faith got me this far, and it’s what’s going to carry this entire café into rooms I haven’t even walked in yet.
