Step inside the story behind the sip. From breakdowns to breakthroughs, this journal shares the raw, real journey of how Life Is A Style Café was birthed from faith, alignment, and divine resilience. These aren’t just blog posts—they’re sacred entries from a woman who turned her pain into purpose and her vision into a movement.
Spiritual Alignment in the Midst of Setbacks
Today, I had to remind myself that peace is my power. I’ve been pouring so much into the physical vision of Life Is A Style Café—finalizing merch bundles, team schedules, signage mockups—but it’s easy to forget that the spiritual foundation is what holds it all together.
Things didn’t go as smoothly as I hoped. Deadlines slipped. Visuals missed the mark. Frustration crept in. But I paused. Breathed. Sat with spirit.
Today’s Verse:
“And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined neither to the right hand, nor to the left.” – 2 Chronicles 34:2
This reminds me: when you’re walking in divine order, you don’t need to swerve. No need to force. No need to fight. Stay centered in the vision—even when the physical wavers.
Today’s Intention:
To continue building this café not just as a business, but as a sacred space of remembrance, joy, and alignment.
Today’s Affirmation:
I am guided by divine timing. Every detail, even the ones delayed, is unfolding in perfect order. My café is a reflection of my inner peace.
I’m Not Just Building a Café.
I’m Building a Legacy.
I used to think I was just building a business.
A café. A menu. A brand.
But somewhere in the midst of late nights, unanswered emails, and deep prayers — I realized…
I’m building a legacy.
This isn’t just about selling infused coffee or creating aesthetic vibes. It’s about creating space.
Space for healing.
Space for women who look like me to dream bigger.
Space for my daughter to one day say, “My mom did that.”Every decision I make is a seed. Every blog, every recipe, every flyer, every launch — it’s all part of something that will outlive me.
I’m not doing this for quick wins. I’m doing this so that people remember how I made them feel when they stepped into something I created with love and purpose.
So no, this isn’t just a café.
This is legacy in motion. This is the foundation of something my bloodline will benefit from.
And if you’re building something that feels bigger than you… it’s because it is.
That’s legacy!
Written with love & lavender.
The Moment I Realized I Was the One I Was Waiting For.
Faith, Entrepreneurship, Purpose.
There was a time I kept waiting for someone to come save me.
An investor.
A mentor.
A perfect partner.I thought maybe if I just explained my vision right… if I worked harder… if I looked more “ready”… then someone would see me. Choose me. Validate me.
But nothing hit me harder than the day I looked in the mirror and heard my spirit say:
“It’s always been you.”That moment wasn’t loud. It didn’t come with fireworks or fanfare. It came in stillness — when I had cried out to God and was met with a calm voice inside that said,
“You don’t need saving. You need to start.”Since then, I stopped waiting. I became my own investor, my own hype woman, my own blueprint.
Life Is A Style Café is the result of me betting on myself — even when I had nothing but vision, grit, and God.
If you’re reading this and you’ve been waiting for a sign — let this be it:
You are already enough. You’re not behind. You’re the one you’ve been praying would show up.
What God Showed Me When I Had Nothing But Faith.
“When all I had was faith, God still gave me vision. Every ‘no’ was divine protection.”
There was a time I had no funding, no storefront, no yeses… just a dream and faith.
I didn’t have connections. I didn’t have a rich investor knocking at my door.
But what I did have was a vision that wouldn’t leave me alone — and a God that whispered, “Keep going.”When everything around me looked like delay, I had to remind myself that delay wasn’t denial.
That just because I couldn’t see the way, didn’t mean God wasn’t clearing the path.
I’ve cried. I’ve prayed. I’ve paced floors wondering how and when.
But looking back… every “no” protected me. Every closed door led me to one I was meant to open myself. When you build with God, you're not building from scratch — you're building from purpose.
Faith got me this far, and it’s what’s going to carry this entire café into rooms I haven’t even walked in yet.
So if you’re reading this from a place of “not yet” — know that God is still working.
Stay faithful. Stay aligned. And trust that what’s yours will not miss you.
"The Vision that Wouldn’t let me Quit!’’
It all begins with an idea.
When I first envisioned Life Is A Style Café, it wasn’t just a business idea.
It was a whisper from God.
A nudge from the universe that said,
"You are going to create something sacred."
I saw it before it existed—people sipping infused coffee while journaling, healing, laughing, exhaling. A space where the world slowed down long enough for people to actually feel peace. That vision stayed with me, even when the funding didn’t. Even when the plan felt blurry. Even when doors closed.
But somehow… I never let go. And the dream never let go of me.
The Why Behind the Style
This café is not just a place to grab a cup. It’s A movement. A mindset. A lifestyle.
Every part of it was born from intention:
A space to feel seen
A vibe that inspires creativity
A product line infused with calm, culture, and clarity
Whether you're sipping a Purple Haze Latte or attending one of our healing events, you’re not just a customer—you’re part of something transformational.
The Grind Behind the Glow
From writing the business plan to building my website, crafting the menu, creating merch, pitching investors, and staying in alignment with my faith—I’ve touched every part of this vision with my own two hands.
There’s no team behind the scenes.
Just me, God, and the purpose He placed in me.
The Setbacks That Shaped Me
There were moments that could’ve broken me.
Funding delays. Canceled events. Silent seasons that felt like setbacks.
But I kept hearing:
“What’s for you, won’t miss you.”
So, I pivoted. I re-planned. I re-prayed. I kept going.
Because this is more than just a café.
It’s legacy. It’s healing. It’s divine timing dressed as hustle.
What’s Next?
I’m in the thick of final preparations:
✔ Brand visuals locked in
✔ The menu is alive
✔ The website is live
✔ The merch is vibing
✔ The RSVP list is growing
Now I’m starting to share more—more teasers, more stories, more behind-the-scenes, because this journey? It’s not just mine. It’s ours.
